Recently, we created some Thai inspired lanterns using the amazing products from EzyShaid. A little while back, our class created some other EzyShaid artworks which were shared with the children at the children's ward at Wollongong Hospital. This time, we decided to do something a little different and create a garland of lanterns inspired by our study of Thai culture.
We sent the lanterns off to the lovely Jan at EzyShaid and then we received some AMAZING news!

Jan at EzyShaid has been in talks with Dr Suzanne Gazda and Prof. Christine Hendersen who have been working hard to support the children in Uganda through an organisation called Hope for Humans. Wyong to Uganda . . . who would have ever thought that was possible?
We are so honoured to be playing a part in enriching these children's lives but we know that we are not the only ones who can make a difference.
We would like to challenge other teachers, schools and individuals to also reach out and lend a hand to support such a worthy cause. It's just one small part of our wonderful learning journey!
